Introduction

This site has been created to celebrate the Nordhavn 60 design. 

The 60 is a “stretched” version of the incredibly popular Nordhavn 55. Originally only the cockpit/lazarette was lengthened, later the saloon was also extended further aft.

The hull numbering sequence for the 60 continued with the 55 series. Ex. 5551, 6052, etc.

There was an overlap period where both 55 and 60 models were offered.

The first 60 is hull 43 a 2009 model.

The last 55 is hull number 51 a 2010 model.  The Nordhavn 55 model has been retired.

The Nordhavn 60 is still available new, please contact P.A.E, the builder, for pricing and availability.

Note: The Nordhavn 60 and Nordhavn 63 are produced from the original Nordhavn 55 hull mold.  The 63 series started fresh with hull number one.

• Flybridge top: open (no top), Bimini, hard top
• Portlight sizes

Significant product improvements:

• Starting with hull 64, the propeller location was moved aft. The earlier hulls are referred to as “short keel” models. No fundamental performance differences.

Impressive accomplishments:

• Trans-Atlantic and Trans-Pacific ocean passages.
• Production model years = 2009 – present.
• Last hull completed = still available.
